Frequently asked questions

Do I need the opponent’s full deck?
No. You can start with one to eight cards. Add all the cards you know, especially the cards that cause you trouble. The result targets only your selection; missing cards may expose weaknesses.
Why can’t the tool build from my selected cards?
Only selected needs at least eight different cards and enough options for a valid deck: a win condition, one to three spells and two air defenders. Add more cards or switch to Exclude selected. Missing matchup data can also prevent a result.
How should I read the counter-deck analytics?
Use the card matchups and suggested answers together with the sample counts and data coverage. Sparse or missing data makes a recommendation less certain. The score combines matchups, counter evidence, synergy and elixir balance; it is not your chance of winning or a guarantee that a card wins every interaction.
How do I search, replace or import cards?
Search using a localized or English card name. Select a deck slot, then choose a card to fill or replace it; use Remove to clear the selected slot. To import a complete deck, copy its Clash Royale deck link and use Actions → Paste deck. If clipboard access is unavailable, focus the deck and paste with your keyboard, or select cards manually.
How do evolutions, heroes and exported decks work?
Choose the exact form you want. The builder allows up to two evolution cards and two heroes/champions, with only one form of each base card. A different form replaces the existing version. If no compatible slot is available, remove a special card first. Complete decks can be copied or opened in Clash Royale through Actions; exported links use base card IDs, so check your special forms in the game.
